The evidence from Bold Systems 4 and https://bold-au.hobern.net/ suggests that C. tanaoptera is a species found in Tasmania. see here:-

While this does not categorically rule out C. tanaoptera also occuring on the mainlaind, I think a site record alone (for example) it is quite difficult to distinguish C. tanaoptera from C. taractis (for example), or C. latebrosa - both species which Bold Systems 4 says occurs both in Tasmania and the mainland.
