I had two one a Grevillea in my back yard in 2019. One started climbing up the garage door so I took into custody Metura elongatus (Saunders' Case Moth) and raised it to an adult Metura elongatus (Saunders' Case Moth) but it took almost a year.

Thank you Aaron. I feel privileged to have the opportunity to collect sighting from Canberra and New South Wales and have them verified by experts. I know from experience that our moderators only confirm sightings that they are 100% sure of - something that cannot be said of iNaturalist. I also appreciate that my data on our property is staying in Australia. Keep up the good work!

Nice sighting - not many records of this species occur and yours is at or very near the northern recorded extent

Calomantispa venusta

Thanks for the information. I understand the problems you are having trying to go nation-wide.
As a past contributor to NatureMapr (particularly for my Canberra records) and currently to iNaturalist, I hope that you will recognise the value of iNaturalist in curating citizen science records from across the country (and the world).
